DAAD Ghana Alumni Meeting June 2019  – “SDGs: The role of German-Ghanaian Alumni Networks in tackling global challenges”

Time: Arrival is 3pm on Friday, 28th of June and the departure is on Sunday, 30th of June at 11am.

What is the event about?

More often than not, DAAD-funded alumni and other Germany alumni may be active in different subject-related networks but may be far from each other. With this upcoming DAAD-Alumni event, we wish to bring alumni together to strengthen their networks and foster sustainable interdisciplinary exchanges. The event will create a platform to bring together scientific expertise from different disciplines to present good practices. So it is expected that this event will lead to lasting interdisciplinary networks in Ghana and West Africa as well as strong connections to German institutions and collaborations to address Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)-related research topics.

How can you participate?

Deadline for the registration is Sunday, the 9th of June. All prospective participants will receive a confirmation until the 17th of June, 2019.

What are the requirements?

The event is open for DAAD-alumni as well as other Germany alumni (if you have studied in Germany, if you are sponsored by German institution).

DAAD-Alumni from outside Accra will receive transport subsidy and are entitled to accommodation at the venue.
